How it works

From the shift you worked to the paycheck you can trust

Five simple steps. What you should have earned always stays separate from what you were actually paid, so the numbers always make sense.

  1. 01

    Add your job

Tell ShiftTrack how you get paid — hourly, salary, contract, per-shift, or tips. Add as many jobs as you work.

  2. 02

    Log your shifts

Add a shift by clock times, total hours, or a flat amount. Breaks, tips, and overnight shifts are handled.

  3. 03

    See what you earned

ShiftTrack adds it up as you go, so you always know what you've made this week, month, and year.

  4. 04

    Check your paycheck

Enter your real paycheck and see it next to what you should have earned — so pay mistakes don't slip by.

  5. 05

    View your history

Keep a running record of everything you've worked and earned, by week, month, year, or job.

Trust is a feature

Estimated vs actual, never blurred

“Money and pay mistakes are stressful. So ShiftTrack always shows you exactly where a number came from.”

  • Your estimate comes from the shifts you logged — your hours, rates, tips, and overtime.
  • Your paycheck holds the real numbers, straight from your actual stub.
  • Reports bring it all together, but always show which numbers are real and which are estimates.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who is ShiftTrack for?
Anyone who gets paid by the hour, in tips, per shift, on contract, or on salary — especially if you work more than one job and want one place to see what you earned and whether you were paid right.
Do I have to connect my bank or my employer?
No. ShiftTrack never asks for bank logins or employer access. You enter your jobs, shifts, and paychecks yourself, so you stay in full control of your own numbers.
How does the paycheck check work?
ShiftTrack estimates what you should have earned from the shifts you logged, then puts that next to the real paycheck you enter. Each check shows the shifts it covered, so you can spot anything that looks off.
Will it make up shifts from my paychecks?
No. Shifts and paychecks are kept separate. A shift is time you worked; a paycheck is what you were paid. ShiftTrack never invents one from the other.
Does it cost anything?
The whole core is free forever — all your jobs, every pay type, the paycheck check, and your full history — with no credit card. A paid Pro plan adds extras like data export and a developer API; see the pricing page for details.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your jobs, shifts, and pay are tied to your own account and are never shared with or visible to other users.
