These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ShiftTrack, operated by [your legal name or registered company] (“ShiftTrack”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ShiftTrack, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. What ShiftTrack is
ShiftTrack is a tool for recording your jobs, shifts, tips, and pay, and for comparing your own records against the paychecks you enter so you can spot anything that looks off. You can try it as a guest before creating an account; any data you enter as a guest is merged into your account when you sign up.
ShiftTrack is an independent software tool. We are not your employer or payroll provider, we are not a party to your employment, and we do not pay wages or withhold taxes.
ShiftTrack’s earnings estimates and paycheck checks are for your information only. They are not legal, tax, accounting, payroll, or financial advice, and they may not match your employer’s official calculations. Always rely on your official pay records, and if you think you’ve been paid incorrectly, talk to your employer or your state labor agency, or consult a qualified professional. ShiftTrack helps you notice questions to ask — it does not resolve pay disputes for you.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use ShiftTrack.
- Give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ShiftTrack for anything unlawful or to harm others.
- Access another person’s account or data without permission.
- Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its security.
4. Plans, billing & renewals
- ShiftTrack offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. See Pricing for current details.
- Pro is billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- We may change prices. If we do, the new price applies to your next renewal, and we’ll give you notice beforehand.
- You’re responsible for any taxes that apply to your subscription.
5. Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel Pro at any time, and Pro includes a 14-day money-back guarantee. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Your content
The jobs, shifts, and pay you enter are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process that content so we can provide the service to you. We don’t claim ownership of your data and we don’t use it to train anything or sell it.
7. Availability
We work to keep ShiftTrack running, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may add, change, or remove features, and we may have downtime for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShiftTrack is provided without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that estimates or paycheck checks are accurate or complete, and ShiftTrack is not responsible for decisions you make based on them. Verifying your actual pay with your employer is your responsibility.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ShiftTrack and the people who run it won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost wages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can stop using ShiftTrack and delete your account at any time, and you can export your data before you go. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. If we ever discontinue ShiftTrack, we’ll give reasonable notice and a window to export your data first.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and let you know. Continuing to use ShiftTrack after a change means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. (Update this if you operate from a different state or country.)
