You can delete your ShiftTrack account and all of your data at any time. You don't need to contact anyone first — here's how, plus exactly what gets removed.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way is in your account settings: open Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm, and your account and data are scheduled for deletion right away.
Request deletion from the web
Don't have the app handy? Email support@shifttrack.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and remove everything — no questions, no retention upsell.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login details.
- Every job, shift, paycheck, and goal you've entered.
- Reports, history, and any settings tied to your account.
What we may keep, and why
We may retain a limited amount of data only where the law requires it — for example, billing and tax records for paid subscriptions, or records needed for security and fraud prevention. Anything kept is the minimum required and is deleted once it's no longer needed. None of it is used to rebuild your account.
How long it takes
Your account is deactivated immediately and your data is permanently erased from our active systems within 30 days. Routine backups are purged on their normal rotation. Once deletion is complete, it can't be undone.
